Bio
Back when there were only three tv channels, banana-seat summer bike rides, and Star Wars summer blockbusters (the first time), these five friends formed a lasting bond of friendship in Cincinnati, Ohio. Over time, their love for music grew together into a band called Twig, with influences ranging from British Invasion to rootsy Americana, with a punked-up modern rockabilly edge.
In the past ten years, this quintet has evolved from cover band to original artists with a slightly cynical voice, spanning themes of today, with a look back to a past time where innocence ruled and first loves led to elation, regret, and a common theme of escape and rebirth.
Twig released their first record of 14 original sons in 2011, titled “Light up the Sky”. In 2018, they will begin recording an all-new project of original songs, titled “Make a Monster Bright” at Candy Land Studios in Dayton, Ky.
